it seems you have to be of the "popular crowd" on this forum to express feelings and views.
as i am not of this crowd, i have recently recieved alot of not so friendly comments and p.m.s from people who seem to think they need to put me in my place.
it is funny how some people can express their views and opinions and everyone still loves them.

when i was a witness , like a lot of you, remember we'd all scramble around at the end of the month asking each other, ( or your book study conductor would remind you) to turn our time in for field ministry ?
Field service "time" has got to be the BIGGEST joke on the planet.
I have seen a group pile into a big van, go in the rurals, talk to two people, and there would be 18 hours turned in. I know a former pioneer: a "pioneer family" always chose to go with her: they would sleep while she worked and, then, count all the snooze time as "service."
The total time spent would drop. How, much...who knows?.....no one counting....

just releasing some steam, but i'm going to be missing my siblings wedding this summer due to the fact i'm dfd.
my sibling invited me but i can't justify the travel expense (across the country) to observe a 20 minute ceremony and then go to a motel alone while everyone is stuffing their faces.. i just hits at the core of human relationships and is so divisive, but that is the point.
after months of no communication, my mother calls me this week to remind me of what i'm missing out on.

As long as we move forward in Journey, confront and endure truth (because a truth seeker is, almost, always uncomfortable), avoid the mind numbing of the mundane attitudes of the majority around us, and join with those of like kind: we will be ok.
Those that exit, for a while, leave the guranteed warmth, water, and food of a cult. We strike out into the cold, thirst, and hunger that lie in the unknows of exiting. But we trust....
We trust that love will overcome hostility.
We trust knowledge will overcome uncertainty.
We trust bravery will overcome fear.
We trust light will overcome darkness.
And, in the wilderness of our doubt, we do not look back to the suppossed securtiy and inviting delicacies left behind because the cost bondage is always greater than the cost of freedom.
So, we press on......
I encourage you in this Journey and am thankful we are all progressing, in part, now, here, together.
